Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...
I have no idea how TEAM AMERICA went from the rough cut I saw on Sunday morning to a finished film that will be sneaking in 800 theaters on Saturday night, but that’s why Matt Stone and Trey Parker are the craziest muthaforkers in Hollywood. They consistently seem to fold space and time in making deadlines, and the result is that you’ll be able to see the film a week early.
I asked Paramount for a theater list, and they responded that it’s pretty much playing everywhere. Check with whatever online ticket services you use, or just call your local theater. Basically, if they’re playing SKY CAPTAIN, they’ll probably be playing TEAM AMERICA, since that’s the film it’s paired with.
I’m seeing the finished print this weekend m’self, and I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did. Let me know before Monday morning, and we’ll print up a whole mess of your reactions.
"Moriarty" out.
