Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with some word on a huge weirdo out of the blue crazy-ass casted film called GLUBINA. Now this is from the author of THE NIGHT WATCH, which was turned into a film that did huge business in Russia. I've seen it and while I wanted it to be as amazing as the premise made it out to be, it ultimately failed as a film for me. I hope that blame can be placed on the director and that a film starring Bruce Campbell, Christopher Lee and Rutger Hauer is as badass as that cast demands. I'm not going to hold my breath... first time director, direct-to-video foreign producer... I hope I'm wrong, but this trio makes it worth a look even if it is a huge train wreck. This is just too strange to be made up ... apparently Bruce Campbell, Christopher Lee and Rutger Hauer have all signed on for a Russian produced film based on a novel by the author of The Night Watch ...
