Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with the heads up on two films, one called LADY WHITE SNAKE, which isn't set to start filming until the end of NEXT YEAR in New Zealand, and an animated flick where McKellen voices an evil Frog and Andy Serkis voices his hench-rat in the London sewer system called FLUSHED AWAY.
LADY WHITE SNAKE sounds pretty cool, but they're talking about 2008 release in the below articles... 2008... Way to plan ahead! It would be interesting, however to see Ian McKellen in an epic Asian fantasy. I hope the project's cool enough to land him since he hasn't been approached yet, according to the below article. Be sure to check the links below for the full story.
Thought I'd pass on this to you. This sort of looks like a cross between Hero and kill bill (action sequences and animated sequences). The second link says that Ian McKellen might be cast.

As for FLUSHED AWAY... This movie sounds awesome! Yahoo News got the scoop, so click the link below for their story on it, which includes the possible casting of a certain Berzerker as the lead voice. This could be the best movie of all time!!!
