Hey folks, Harry here... I very rarely plug special appearances by me on television... but this one is simply... cooler than cool. Earlier today I got to preview an episode of the Duck Dodgers television show entitled MENACE OF MANINSUIT! Yes, my ejaculatory mantra for Toho giant rubber suit monsters... MAN-IN-SUIT has been animated into the Looney Tune universe... making it's way into the glory of Chuck Jones' greatest creation, DUCK DODGERS! Not only that, but in the opening moments of this hilarious take on not only the Japanese Giant Monster genre, but the Japanese Robots and Anime universes... I get to make an animated cameo with dialogue put into my animated mouth by the voice of JOHNNY BRAVO (Jeff Bennett) himself! Now obviously this makes this easily one of the greatest animated anythings. And the good news is... On August 14th at 4pm Eastern and Pacific, MENACE OF MANINSUIT begins on CARTOON NETWORK. Now believe it or not, the Producers of DUCK DODGERS actually called to ask permission, like a zillion years ago it seems, to use my infamous MANINSUIT phrase as a major gag in Duck Dodgers. And, of course, I HAD to say yes! And in return and unknown to me... they plopped my animated Harry self into the episode as a thanks. AWESOME!!!
Now in other MAN-IN-SUIT News, La-La-Land Records is releasing a 50th Anniversary GODZILLA soundtrack remastered with bonus tracks that have not previously been on CD! AND - I got to write a tribute to Godzilla and Akira Ifukube. And of course, the phrase "Man In Suit" just had to be in there somewhere! Heh!
