Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...
Seeing that Warner Bros. told a roomful of rabid fans just a few days ago that they simply didn’t have a trailer ready to show them, it seems to be exceptionally poor form for it to show up online today, less than a week later. Of course, that won’t stop fans from freaking out at their first glimpse of what Christopher Nolan has in store for us next summer. I may have thought that full-body shot of Batman that landed everywhere on the Internet yesterday was silly, but then again, Batman wasn’t meant to be seen in bright light. I doubt we’ll have many shots in the film where he’s illuminated head to toe like that.
At any rate, I’m pretty darn excited by the teaser trailer. It’s a first-rate bit of work, and matches exactly the trailer description we ran recently. Nice job, Brundlefly. Gotta say... I'm impressed by the fact that this is a totally different approach to advertising than the now-legendary first teaser for Burton's 1989 BATMAN, which I remember so vividly. Nolan seems to be walking the walk as well as he talks the talk so far. Fingers crossed that we're going to finally get a BATMAN movie that lives up to the expectations of fans after having been burnt so many times in the past.
CHECK IT OUT RIGHT HERE IN ANY FORMAT YOUR HEART DESIRES!!
"Moriarty" out.
