Hey folks, Harry here with the latest on A SOUND OF THUNDER, the film based upon Ray Bradbury's incredibly influential short story that was first translated into visual form by Al Williamson in WEIRD SCIENCE FANTASY #25 from the vaunted pages of E.C. way back in September of 1954. Now Peter Hyams has been working for seemingly ever, to bring forth a feature length film adapted from the work. With Crash's creature designs and a more traumatic effect and action given to poor future Chicago... I think we'll see a bunch of coolness... I really dig the Baboon Lizard thingee. Very cool! Here ya go...
Here's what Williamson made it look like back when comics still cost only 10 cents... If you're out at San Diego's phantastic Comic-Con this week you might be able to find one of these nice old books, buuuut the price will be closer to $500.00 now. Luckly ol' Father Geek picked this one up in the early 1970's for around 15 bucks.
