There is an evil force in the universe and his name is Scott!!! He follows Glen like a lap
puppy, and carries a 45 and a camera in either hand. He is an aggie, he is the enemy.
However, he also has a penchant for being damn useful so Glen tolerates him. But then
Glen has never been known for his taste in Aggies. Which reminds me of an adventure
Glen and I had into the secret lair of the Aggies. But that'll be forgotten for the day,
instead I present this picture and the tale the aggie weaved. For it is a tale of a cowardly
Glen and a brave Aggie at a convention attended by the world.
Glen Oliver and I were at the screening of the Starship Troopers trailer and documentary at Worldcon. As the director Paul Verehoven appeared on the screen, some of the crowd started booing and yelling at the director. Just then, the large creature pictured below busted through the wall and attacked the hecklers. Many a geek was slaughtered that day. Fortunately, there were emergency back-up geeks there. As the critter charged Glen and I, Glen began screaming, "Go away, you beastly thing! Shoo! Shoo!" That's when I puled out my concealed Magnum 45 handgun and blew the sucker away. The bug, not Glen, I mean. Anyway, they took the creature and put it on the floor for display. They labeled it 'Texas Cockroach'. Ha. Everyone knows Texas roaches are bigger than that. I believe that it was truly one of the bugs from Starship Troopers sent by Verehoven to kill the Geek hecklers.
