Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a little bit from Will Ferrell on OLD SCHOOL 2 pulled out of him during his recent press tour for ANCHORMAN. I liked OLD SCHOOL, but saw it late in the game (didn't catch it until DVD) and was a tad underwhelmed. After seeing Ferrell in ANCHORMAN I'm actually kind of happy that he's not sequelizing himself already. The double whammy of ELF and ANCHORMAN showcases how strong of a leading comedic talent he is and I'd love to see him continue on with original films. Anyway, enough of my blubbering about. I was listening to an interview of Will Ferrell on the Dan Patrick Show on ESPNRadio and when Dan asked him about Old School 2, Will very matter-of-factly said it wasn't going to happen because the studio pissed Todd Phillips off. I was wondering if there was any truth to this and what could have pissed him off. I admit I was on the fence about the idea of Old School 2, but was thinking there was some potential to be really funny with the people involved.
