ETHAN HAWKE, JULIE DELPY, AND RICHARD LINKLATER TO ATTEND SPECIAL AUSTIN FILM SOCIETY SCREENING OF BEFORE SUNSET ON JUNE 26
Austin, TX--The Austin Film Society announced that Oscar-nominated actor ETHAN HAWKE (BEFORE SUNRISE, TRAINING DAY, TAKING LIVES), JULIE DELPY (BEFORE SUNRISE), and writer/director RICHARD LINKLATER (DAZED AND CONFUSED, BEFORE SUNRISE, WAKING LIFE) will attend a special screening of Warner Independent Pictures' and Castle Rock Entertainment's BEFORE SUNSET at 8:00pm on Saturday, June 26th at Austin's historic Paramount Theatre. Proceeds from the event will benefit the artistic and educational programs of the Austin Film Society.
BEFORE SUNSET was shot in and around France and reunites Jesse and Celine (Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy) nine years after their first encounter in 1994's BEFORE SUNRISE. Jesse and Celine have only a few hours to discuss their current lives and their remaining feelings for one another.
According to AFS Executive Director Rebecca Campbell, "This film is smart and touching - there is no one who won't love BEFORE SUNSET."
A bonus screening of BEFORE SUNRISE will be shown at 4:30pm at the Paramount Theatre. Hors d'oeuvres and cash bar will follow at Buffalo Billiards, 201 E. 6th St., at 6:15pm. A Q&A with Ethan Hawke and Richard Linklater will follow the screening of BEFORE SUNSET.
Tickets will go on sale to Austin Film Society members on Wednesday, June 16TH, through the Paramount box office and Star Tickets outlets. VIP orchestra tickets are $50 and are only available by calling the Austin Film Society. AFS member tickets are $12. Non-member tickets are $20 and available on Monday, June 21st.
BEFORE SUNSET is rated R, and will be released nationwide by Warner Independent Pictures on July 2nd. For more information on the film, visit www.beforesunset.com.
