Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...
Dreamworks just cancelled all of this week’s press screenings, pushing them back to next week. I wasn’t sure why, either, since the first few reactions I’ve read, like David Poland’s glowing review, seemed to be pretty positive.
Then this note showed up in our e-mail box:
We are reshooting the end of THE TERMINAL on Tuesday
interesting, don't you think, since the premiere is the following tuesday....
we'll see
I’m curious to see if the ending is indeed different when it opens later this month from the one that was shown to select audiences in the last few weeks. Guess we’ll find out next week. I’m sure if it is being tweaked, it’s a minor thing. There’s not time for any sort of major overhaul, and I would imagine they already scuttled that amazing airport set that Alex McDowell built for the film.
