Hey folks, Harry here with the latest George Lucas enhancement... Seems Georgie has decided that... well, his first film - THX-1138 - needed the whiz-bang of his modern day digital fingertips... and now what many highbrowed critics considered his best work, well now-- it too has undergone the "Special Edition" treatment.
It seems - that George had always imagined Alex Proyas-styled robot factories - straight out of this summer's I,ROBOT. And FORBIDDEN PLANET styled shaft extensions. That being said, the transfer on this edition of THX-1138 looks like it is going to be gorgeous... and I'm hoping that whatever Georgie has toyed with hasn't mucked it all up too much. Here's the scoop...
