Morbidity of the Soul news (aka Silence of the Lambs 2 aka Manhunter 3)

I've been hearing this from a lot of places, but what the hey, I guess I should do the right thing and place it in your hands. There's a part of me that doesn't want a sequel to SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, and then there's that part of me that just is so giddy and excited that I froth at the mouth constantly when I think about it. Here's Bob and his scoop...
Just in case you didn't know,
There was an article in this weeks Sunday Times regarding the
forthcoming Hannibal Lecter film provisionally titled "Morbidity of the
Soul". According to the article Anthony Hopkins will recieve £15m to
reprise the role of Hannibal Lecter, (don't know what that is in
dollars, but apparently it makes him the highest paid British actor in
the world.) According to the arrticle, Hopkins said "I love playing
Hannibal: he is great fun". So it looks fairly certain. It'll be
directed by Jonathan Demme again, and Jodie Foster is going to be in it
again.
However, we're not likely to see it any time soon 'cos, according to the
article, not only has Hopkins got 4 more films to make (Meet Joe Black,
with Brad Pitt; Zorro, Instinct, with Cuba Gooding Jr and Titus
Andronicus) Thomas Harris (author of Silence of the Lambs) hasn't
finished writng the book yet. They don't say anything about the plot of
the film, other than it has elements of Pierto Pacciani (a Tuscan farmer
accused of preying on courting couples in the 50's who died this year).
Anyway, thats all and it'll probably be the first and last time you'll
ever hear from me, unless of course Samuel L Jackson has anything
interesting to say at his interview at the National Film Theatre in
London, which I'm attending in a couple of weeks...
If you want to put up any of this stuff, just call me Bob (I know it's
not interesting or original, but I think thats the point...)
