Project called DARK HORSE

I heard about this project a long time ago, but for some reason I can't remember when or where. I've been racking my brain trying to remember, and I can't. It sounds like a wonderful script, anyone read it? Reports? Just an inquiry...

Jeffrey Sudsen (Fright Night II, Breakdown)is working on a budget breakdown on a film called "Dark Horse" that has created a huge buzz here. Mike Levy (Gardens of Stone) is exec producer. Tommy Lee Wallace (Stephen King's "IT") is slated as director. Wallace hopes it's a breakaway hit to get him out of the low budge horror label.

Word from everyone who has read the script is that it's phenomenal. Plot is about a girl who takes over her high school like Hitler took over Germany. Several studios have it, Shooting Gallery is one of them.

Debra Hill's in love with it as well. Levy is crazy about it. It's being called a "think piece for teenagers." Going to be controversial from what I hear.

More as it develops if you want it. Some info coming on Godzilla 2.
