I've been dying to get more news on Cronenberg's 'eXistenZ' and here's the first bit in a loooooooong time. Personally I've been awaiting some sort of script review or on set info, but this little bit of rumor is the first bit I've heard in a long long time. So if you know anything more let me know, cause we all know that Cronenberg is one of the ones to keep all 477 eyes buried in your scalp peeled to watch. Here's Mugwump's report...
Not sure if heard this information or not regarding the new Cronenberg
movie. eXistenZ, the new David Cronenberg sci-fi movie filmed in Dufferin
County (outside of Toronto,Ontario, Canada)
According to a friend who lives in the area residents got letters from
the producers warning them about strange sights, explosions and
odd "ambient lighting."
From a recent newspaper article, the film, involves the invention of
subversive new technology made of "human flesh and bone."
In a recent interview, Callum Keith Rennie (Hard Core Logo, Last Night)
talked about one prop, "a gun that is made of leg bone and
shoots teeth at people, so I suppose it's weird!"
