Hey folks, Harry here... D.C. is probably tripling their security to ensure the safety of America's most important citizen... the true leader of our hearts and souls... BRUCE CAMPBELL... Meanwhile, as the Secretary of Puns in Campbell's Cabinet, Adam West is coming to the Alamo Drafthouse! Here ya go!
Ahoy, squirts. Quint here with a heads up on two very, very cool screenings happening on the 9th of this month.
To start, the man-god Bruce Campbell will be presenting BUBBA HO-TEP in Washington D.C. at the grand opening of Landmark's new E Street Theater. If you Washington fools haven't gotten a chance to see this flick, hurry on over. Bruce is always great to see speak. Just make sure to ask about EVIL DEAD 4. He loves being asked if there will be an EVIL DEAD 4, especially when you ask it over and over and over again!
I'm not sure how much tickets are... I just know it's happening sometime that day. Locals can call the cinema at (202) 452-7672 for more information. You can also keep an eye on their website for more information.
The other cool screening happening on that date is right here in my little town of Austin, TX. At the beautiful and classy ALAMO DOWNTOWN location they are presenting the original 1966 feature film BATMAN with none other than Batty himself Adam West in attendance. There will be two shows (7:30pm and 9:45pm). Tickets are only $7.50, so be sure to order them HERE AT THE ALAMO'S WEBSITE.
Hope some of you folks hit one of these badass screenings! I'll probably be at one of the BATMAN screenings. How could I pass up the chance to be in the presence of the Mayor of Quahog? I'll be back soon with a big upcoming horror DVD release review and some other goodies. 'Til that day, this is Quint bidding you all a fond farewell and adieu.
