Hey folks, Harry here... The 1980 OLYMPICS and the Hockey showdown between the United States and the Soviet Union's team... it was a thing of legend at the time. I remember at the age of 9, even my "hippie" parents were into it. It was so impossible to believe the US team could even get to the finals, much less knock off the ungodly dominant Soviet team. It is one of the great American Sports Moments in history... But right now... given the split mood of the country, the strongly negative feelings about the United States abroad... I'm afraid that what might very well be a great film for Kurt Russell may in fact just be summarily dismissed as "Rah Rah America" propaganda by many here and abroad. It's hard to sometimes dismiss one's feelings about a current government, with an honest to goodness great American moment... Something we haven't really seen in a long time in Sports. I hate that the Olympics let Professionals in now. The trailer looks like a genuine great Hockey movie... and I'm all for Kurt Russell.. Here ya go...
