Hey folks, Harry here... Oh boy... Here's one I want to see. John Milius has scripted a modern day western set upon the steel horses that the motorcycle gangs ride in the modern American Southwest. I hope Milius is directing this baby, while "I wanna be Gov" is out of his mind, and until his brain has kicked back into gear to do KING CONAN like he should. Ahem. But this... This has potential. In the crazed brilliant mind of Milius this could be a great film. I love the Motorcycle gang genre... films like THE SAVAGE SEVEN, THE LOSERS or HELL'S BELLES rule, and their like hasn't been seen in a generation or two. Milius is the man to make the greatest of them all! Although... I did write a Motorcycle Gang film myself, most likely... mine would be the illiterate scribblings of a monkey at a typewriter when held next to... the master's. Too. Cool!
Hey Harry, here is a little something that I ran across today concerning Blade 3!!!
The WWE's Triple H, aka Michael Paul Levesque, has finally signed his first two movie projects, one of which is to be written by an Academy Award nominated writer and will be the first film produced by WWE Films.
"Jornada Del Muerte" (Journey of Death) is described as a modern day Western, set among motorcycle gangs, drugs and codes of honor in the modern Southwest. The script was written by John Milius, best known for his Oscar nominated script "Apocalypse Now" and writing and directing Arnold Schwarzeneggar in "Conan the Barbarian." Milius says the script was written specifically for Triple H. Milius says "Triple H has a great sense of humor and a rare combination of accessibility and inherent nobility. He is a working man's hero, something that has been missing in movies for a long time."
"Jornada" will likely be the first production from WWE's Hollywood division, WWE Films. WWE Films had previously purchased a pitch from "Spawn" screenwriter Alan McElroy in July, but "Jornada" should appear first since it's script is already in place.
Triple H has also landed a role in "Blade: Trinity", the third installment in the Wesley Snipes action series about a vampire hunter. Triple H will play one of the villains in the film.
