”And I can feel a change in the wind right now.
”Nothing's in my way.
”And they're not gonna hold me down no more.
”No they're not gonna hold me down.”
Yikes! Have we heard the last of Russell Watson warbling “It’s been a long time/Getting’ from here to there”?
Trekweb.com reports that the electronica band Woven has been approached to submit another theme song (also utlizing lyrics) to the flagship UPN sci-fi drama "Enterprise," which returns with new episodes next Wednesday. According to the trekweb.com story, producers received the new music only last week.
Will the Woven song be utlized? Eh, maybe not. With less than a week before the third-season premiere, the band has still not been notified as to whether or not the new music will be used, according to the Woven spokesman who broke the news.
There is also speculation that the series' title could change. A number of promos, including one that ran after this week’s repeat of last season’s finale, featured text with the words “Star Trek” over the word “Enterprise.” (Of course, it’s never the smartest idea to put too much faith in a promo, right?)
And now, on to the talkback, yet another opportunity to pelt the co-architects of "All Good Things ..." and "First Contact" with cries of "retards!" "faggots!" and "dipshits!" Hop to it, kids!
