Hey folks, Harry here with a trailer for a movie that... from the trailer looked pretty damn cool. HIGHWAYMEN. When you see the opening of this trailer... well, it's just a visceral terror scene that really got me... it also smacks of possibly being, "The best moment of the film," slapped in the trailer to hook you hoping that there is more. And as I watched the rest of the trailer... I thought... DUEL, HITCHER, JOYRIDE, BREAKDOWN... all of which I enjoyed quite a bit, so while redundant, I was intrigued. I like Jim Caviezel and keep hoping for him to get a role that really takes advantage of him... Like THE PASSION promises to... So upon being on a high from the trailer, I came back to the site to look up the reviews from test screenings here. Found two. The first, by Mean Mr. Mustered (not to be confused with Mean Mr. Mustard) was fairly lackluster with a great deal of problems. The second, by Steel Belted Skull, enumerated problems and declared it not worth your or my time in a theater, but he states there are two really great car scenes... So if we take it that the one that starts the trailer is numero uno.... that means there's one more. Of course both of these reviews are dated now, having come from April, and the film isn't due till the first weekend of December. It's from the director of HITCHER, which is a flick I absolutely love for all its trashiness and because Rutger Hauer ruled the Earth at that time period! I look forward to hearing more on this one, hopefully... it's just a nail-biting suspense rush waiting to happen, but the reviews of old say it is a yawner. Let's keep our fingers crossed...
