Hey folks, Harry here... Well, the big unanswered question from "The Deadly Nightshade" and his review is whether or not Elisha Cuthbert is going to be playing a PG-13 ex-porn queen or an R-rated ex-porn queen. Throwing titles like RISKY BUSINESS and SOMETHING WILD out there is nice and all... but that's Paul Brickman and Jonathan Demme whupping some teen-sex comedy ass. This one is directed by Luke Greenfield of... THE ANIMAL... infamy. His short film was hilarious, but... THE ANIMAL... whew... I've heard there are some nude scenes in the film, but apparently at least the male lead had a body double... but what about Elisha... will she join Phoebe Cates as one of the great teen sex comedy nude scenes? We can only pray. The film doesn't hit till March 12, 2004 opposite AGENT CODY BANKS 2... well, at this stage I know which sounds best!
Hi Harry, Here is a review scoop for you.
I saw the teen comedy, THE GIRL NEXT DOOR at a screening last week in Thousand Oaks, CA and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

The story revolves around an ambitious high school senior (played by Emile Hirsh) who is not know for taking many risks with his life ( his ultimate goal is to get into Georgetown University). His life takes an exciting turn when he gets involved with a beautiful "girl next door"-type who moves in: .... NEXT DOOR (played by Elisha Cuthbert). When she turns out to be an EX-porn queen, all hell breaks loose, specially when the girl's EX-boyfriend and porn producer (played brilliantly Timothy Olyphant)comes looking for her to fulfill her one last cinematic obligation.
The film is basically RISKY BUSINESS meets SOMETHING WILD. The audience I saw it with was laughing their ass off and Elisha Cuthbert will most definitely induce countless orgasms in the theatres. Overall, the smartest teen comedy since the RISKY BUSINESS/BREAKFAST CLUB era. Fox should have big hit on their hands. The film also gives you a supply of hilarious supporting characters, including Hirsh's two best friends (which film geeks will particularly enjoy).
