Batman 5 and a mention of Sandra Bullock for good measure (just for you SteveB)!!!

This unnamed avenger for truth had a talk/listen with a producer who is involved with the Batman Franchise at a very high level. Yesterday, he spoke in the unnamed avenger's contract law class (at an undisclosed secret location). He talked at length about how he structured the deal to get the rights to the Batman films from D.C. (which was quite an ordeal). He also said that he and his partner were working on a feature film of the "Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego" television series, starring Sandra Bullock.

After his talk, the unnamed avenger went up to him and asked him when the next Batman movie would be out. He said the year 2000. He also said that it would be much darker in tone (his words were "much more like the first movie.") He also noted that they had enough material to do three more films. But the really interesting thing he said was that all the Batman movies were based on periods in the Batman comic series. Batman is the late 30's, Batman Returns is the 90's, Batman Forever is the late 40's, early 50's, and Batman and Robin is the 60's version. Someone asked him if he liked Batman and Robin and he said something like "yes, because it suceeded as the 60's version of Batman." The unnamed avenger was forced to agree with him on that, obviously some sort of evil mind control device. The unnamed avenger then asked him if any future Batman movies would be based on the Frank Miller version of Batman and he said "yes." Later, the heroically challenged unnamed avenger asked him about director's cuts and he indicated that there were no plans to release any because not that much material had been cut from the films.
