Hey folks, Harry here... Today it was announced that Woody Allen's ANYTHING ELSE would be unveiling at the Venice Film Festival and with that announcement, Dreamworks has launched the Trailer online.
Woody Allen has never been accused of having the best opinion of himself when it comes to being accepted by mass-audiences. In fact neurotic intellectual angst about lack of confidence in himself is... well it is what defines Woody Allen. I've never seen it displayed better than in the trailer for ANYTHING ELSE...
Looking at the trailer you will have NO CLUE that the film STARS - Woody Allen and features Stockard Channing and Danny DeVito ta boot. The trailer is exclusively selling the sexual problems between two young lovers or would-be lovers played by Jason Biggs and Christina Ricci. Christina looks amazingly adorable and sensual in this film... and INSANELY NEUROTIC! I can not wait to see this film. Woody and Dreamworks seem to be experimenting to see if the film can gain a bigger audience without his face, than with it. I pray that the film does great for Woody - but at the same time, I sort of hate to think that it would be... in spite of him in terms of publicity. Weird. here ya go...
The trailer for the new Woody Allen has hit online. Strangely enough, despite the fact that he's staring in it and the film centers around his character, he's no where to be seen in the trailer.
