Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...
Man, I’ve got a ton of stuff in the e-mail box that I’m going to try to put up over the next few days. I’ve been bad. I’ve been so tardy putting things up that I’m starting to lose track of all the stuff I’ve got to share with you.
Anyone who knows me or knows Harry is aware of how much we adore animation, and I love it when there are animated projects from someone beside Disney or Dreamworks to talk about.
Recently, we’ve been keeping an eye on WONDERFUL DAYS, a Korean animated film that looks amazing, and now there’s a couple of other foreign-language titles I want to watch out for, too:
I have read your site for years and really love it. I know how devoted you folks are to great animation and I was surprised that you have not covered the new spanish animation studio Filmmax so I thought I would chime in and see what you thought.

Check out this synopsis and teaser for the film Nocturna and if you fall endlessly in love with it like I did maybe you could post it for everyone.
Well if you use this call me The Astonishing Man-Fat
Thanks, man. I know Harry’s been waiting to see this next film for a while, and I still remember seeing that first teaser trailer way back when and being intrigued. This is the first word I’ve heard about theatrical distribution in the U.S., so that’s gotta be a good thing, right?!
Hi Harry,
I have been waiting forever for this damn movie to come out. Since I had worked on it, back in Septembre 2001 it made it all the more tantilizing.

The rumor was that after its screenings in Europe, Dreamworks was suppose to distribute it. But alas, it was probably too edgy for Mr. Spielberg & co... so, officially, Sony Pictures Classics has picked up the rights to distribution and will release it November 21, 2003 in New York and Los Angeles as "Belleville Rendez-Vous". Other cities to follow shortly. At least now I know the date. Salut.
Robert.

Thanks to both of you for the submissions.
