Hey folks, Harry here... Got an interesting and intriguing e-mail from my friend Tim League of the Alamo Drafthouse... he's always interesting and intriguing.... Always got stuff up his sleeve, so I clicked to read it right away...
Harry,
I sent this out to our newpaper/radio press list, but I wanted to send it to you as well. I think this is a pretty big deal, and constitutes something of an animator revolt. There is no question that the local shows are going to sell out, but I know they are looking to generate some national buzz. If you think it's worthy, would you consider putting it on the site as a news item?
Tim
Hmmmm, let's see what he has to say in this here press release thingee...
The Alamo Drafthouse CInema has been chosen to be the launching point for a new Animation Show (THE Animation Show) formed by Don Hertzfeldt and Mike Judge. Mike and Don will both be in attendance at the screenings on the the 17th and 18th.
For more information and tickets, go to the Alamo Downtown website:

or visit the official Animation Show website:
This is a MAJOR announcement for animation fans. The touring Spike and Mike show has dominated the Animation scene in the US for the past 15 years. Mike and Don are both former members of the Spike and Mike stable, and have formed this company and show in order to give more proceeds and credit back to the artists themselves.
Any press or announcements you can give about this series would be greatly appreciated. We have press photos and can arrange interviews.

Hmmmm, so Don Hertzfeldt and Mike Judge are gonna pull a Mickey & Judy and throw a show, eh? Groovy. So next I went to check out: AnimationShow.Com to see what there was to see... Lo and behold they've got themselves a dandy of a poster...
