Get extreme... with Mat Hoffman on the set of LARA CROFT TOMB RAIDER 2: THE CRADLE OF LIFE

Hey folks, Harry here with something vaguely amusing... Over at the Apple Trailer site, they've just posted this series of set reports by Mat Hoffman on LARA CROFT TOMB RAIDER 2: THE CRADLE OF LIFE and it's something rather bizarre to see.

I suppose Mat Hoffman appeals to some weird section of society that loves extreme bike riding, and from some of Hoffman's Stunt riding they show... well, he does go extreme... BUUUUT, what the hell does that have to do with TOMB RAIDER 2?

You won't learn anything remotely interesting in his interviews, though I love that they were interviewing stunt coordinators, set supervisors and what not, but Mat just sort of sits there with a goofy look on his face and hangs from a ceiling with Angelina Jolie, sort of stares at Jan De Bont for a bit, talks with the Stunt Coordinator, but doesn't really say anything. Talks with the Set Supervisor at Pinewood, but again nothing is really learned. It's only when he talks with Nikki Bewick, the lady that taught Angelina how to stick fight that it made sense to have Mat there. And that's only when he asks her to kick his ass, he can take it. If not, just nitpick me for being a nitpick lamer that's probably jealous that he didn't get to hang from a ceiling with Angelina Jolie, but then... would there have been a ceiling had I been hoisted? Probably not... and the Egyptian Slave workforce required to heave me to that height... well, It was probably a good idea to use Mat.
