Quint

Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...

This one’s pretty self-explanatory, so I’ll just get out of Quint’s way and let him get to it:

Ahoy squirts... Quint here checking in from my temporary shack built on a dock somewhere in the southern hemisphere. I'm working on some pretty cool things right now, so keep your eyes peeled... coolness may be only days away...

While you're waiting, I have a special treat for you horror fans in the LA area. If you're like me and a rabid horror nut always wanting to see the newest flicks, be on the cutting edge of horror then you should check out this screening of a film called Love Object.

The filmmakers are holding a special free screening tomorrow, Tuesday, June 24th, at the ArcLight at the Dome Cinema in Hollywood (on Sunset at Ivar) at 7:30

I know very little about this film other than the director, Robert Parigi, produced a bunch of Tales From the Crypt episodes... oh and it has both Rip Torn and Udo Kier in the cast... After further checking, the IMDB reviewer seemed really mixed on the film, but he said its downfall was a third act full of gratuitous gore... And to me gratuitous gore means a good time.

Also, those of you Fangoria nuts out there might have seen the coverage of Love Object in the recent issue... I have not seen it... maybe someone in talkback can alert us to how it looks.

So, if you're free Tuesday night and want to see a free gore fest with Udo Kier in it, head on over to the ArcLight and let me know how the film is.

This is not a recommendation from me, personally, as I have not seen the film and cannot vouche for it... But it's a free screening of a brand spakin' new horror flick, so what's the danger? I sat through the godawful HOUSE OF THE DEAD film and I bet LOVE OBJECT is at least 20 times better than that miserable piece of celuloid trash.

OK, squirts. Back to the land downunder... time to go gut and clean some sharks. I'll be back very soon. 'Til that day, this is Quint bidding you all a fond farewell and adieu.

-Quint Yay! A free horror film! I love “free.” I want to name my kids “Free.”

He’s not kidding, you know. He’s working on something insanely cool in New Zealand now. Bastard. Lucky. Rotten. Miserable. Lucky. Bastard.

"Moriarty" out.
