Hi, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab...
We’ve seen directors come and go. We’ve seen script drafts come and go. The development process has been, to put it bluntly, a motherfucker so far. And small wonder... Douglas Adams created a remarkable world of characters and events, as attractive as any property out there, and it seems to be difficult for anyone to figure out exactly what version of his story to tell in a feature film.
Looks like they got one step closer today:

Hello Harry. Given the success rate of my "scoop-tastic" emails to you, I'm fucked if you get more than a link this time. Directors for Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy chosen.

Awwwww... you’re not so vicious. I appreciate the link. And I have to say... the idea of these guys directing the film gives me some hope. “Coffee & T.V.” is one of those unforgettable music videos that manages to tell a story and establish a style and be clever and well-composed and all within three minutes. Set free to use today’s state of the art in FX and the script draft that Adams left behind, there just might be hope this time that this will actually end up on screen.
In the meantime, just hold onto your towels, and whatever you do... don’t panic.
"Moriarty" out.
