Harry here... Right now Lucky McKee's brilliant debut film, MAY is out there in theaters without the support of an advertising campaign and dying. It's very sad. I've reposted my review once before already, so, I'll do it again, but I'm not the only one that has fallen in love with this wonderful horror film. Here are: Quint, Mouth, Nordling, Ghostboy, Moriarty and even Roger Ebert's 4 Star Review!

The fact that this film is getting a release at all is a testement to the film's ability to win over audiences. Most will discover MAY on DVD, Home Video and on Cable. Then they'll gripe about why this film never played in a theater near them. Fact is, the film is playing in a few theaters near a few of you. The only problem is, there aren't any trailers on your tv, there may not even be an ad in your local paper. The theater may not even have a One-Sheet Movie Poster for the film up. Why? Because, unfortunately, the distributor doesn't have faith that the audience will ever turn out for this marvelous film. THEY know that it'll be seen on DVD and Home Video and Cable, and they don't want to risk any money selling this thing in a summer where it is SURE to be overlooked. But if you have a chance to see it, to drag a few friends... Then by all means get out and support a film that needs it, deserves it and will earn your love.
