Ok folks been hungry for doggy bisquits? Want to see Mel chomp down another with Lethal Weapon 4? Well the script isn't quite ready yet. No, no problems, just a unique (unique to me anyway) way of composing a film. Ok here is what the Holy Saint who watches over me (and he/she must also look in over the shoulder of Silver) says:
Mr. Joel "testosterone" Silver has had 5 drafts of the Lethal Weapon 4 script written. They are all the same story, but with different action scenes. Now that he has all five (the most recent was handed in yesterday) he will take the best parts of all 5 to make Lethal Weapon 4. What becomes of the spare pieces? Fodder for the shredder I guess. (Hey when are they gonna do another Live Action Turtle flick anyway) The plan is to take elements from 5 good scripts and put em together to get one Kickass Movie. Ummmmm, we'll see. The final "first draft" should be landing in Joel's lap sometime in Mid- November.
