It’s funny... we get a heads-up on whatever the Apple site is posting, trailer-wise, and the e-mails are unflaggingly optimistic about each and every thing that gets posted. So when I get the following e-mail, how can I not laugh?

I guess someone decided that the new trend is to do short animated bits to tease viewers for the big theatrical film. In this case, I’m not feeling it. I want to... I enjoyed the first CHARLIE’S ANGELS for what it was, and I have talked to people who have seen the second one and who say it’s bigger and better in every way. Even being enthusiastic, though, I’m not getting much of a response off this cartoon. The one detail they got right, based on the script I read for FULL THROTTLE, is the outrageous fetish wear. There must be 345,288,817 costume changes in CA2, and every single one of them is designed to make some poor bastard in the audience sport wood. It’s fiendishly brilliant, I tell you...
