Hey folks, Harry here... Ok, I've heard questions about what a 1930's Roadster is doing in the latter part of the 19th century... Folks wondering why Tom Sawyer is a part of this team as a man in his late twenties or so, when Twain set TOM SAWYER in and around 1836, meaning he'd be a good 45 - 55 years old at the time of THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN... Personally I find that question a bit of a nitpick, but hey... those are going to happen. BUT Frankly, this trailer, to me, looks a helluvalot better than that teaser that came out... Gone are those nasty green tints, the big shots actually look quite beautiful... There's this one sequence between Hyde and an even larger monstrosity, and that gigantic creature looks like a Bernie Wrightson moving painting, which is cool, but is a bit jarring in a photorealistic world, but I still like it for its luridness. I haven't heard from anyone that has seen the film yet, but I'd say, I'm cautiously hopeful about the film. I know that it is a radical departure from the original comic, I'm just hoping Norrington made a fun movie.
