Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.
Well... maybe. Or maybe not. Hard to tell.
I got an e-mail from Brad Miska over at BLOODY-DISGUSTING, and it seems that their site was sent a scan of a test screening pass for UNDERWORLD. Only it wasn’t called UNDERWORLD. It was called THE COVENANT.
Here’s the e-mail I was sent.
This is a pretty awesome exclusive we received regarding Kate Beckinsale's 'Underworld.' It seems the title is being changed:
Links always appreciated.
Thanks!
Brad
It’s not common for them to use actual fake names for films on test screenings. I’ve seen them go through a series of titles while trying to find one, and I’ve seen them leave the titles off completely to try and throw us off their trails, but fake titles are unusual. So are they going to change this title after they’ve already started running trailers and posters with the title UNDERWORLD?
Maybe I’ll get some official word in the days ahead. Until then, it’s all so mysteeeeeeeeerious...
"Moriarty" out.
