Hey folks, Harry here... Ok... gotta say it... This just completely looks like steaming crap. The CG creatures look terrible with the 2D characters... Brad Pitt's voice coming out of Sinbad is just about the most incredibly awful thing that I have ever witnessed. The barfing leg-humping dog... The terrible 21st century catch phrases.... "Whose Bad? .... SINBAD!" This from the folks behind PRINCE OF EGYPT... from the alleged mastermind of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and ALADDIN? This is an out and out embarrassment. Perhaps I take my Sinbad a bit too seriously. Afterall... the 3 Harryhausen films happen to be 3 of the greatest children's films... adult films... FILMS that I have loved all my life... But having said that, I was really looking forward to a dynamic derring-do swashbuckling fantasy adventure hero. But this Sinbad seems to have a bit too many glue fumes snorted for my taste. How about you?

Anywhoo, I thought you might wnat to know that there's a new trailer for the Dreamworks Pictures film Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas. There's actually two trailer to be more accurate. A domestic one in crappy Windows Media/Real Player, and an international one in glorious Super Hi Res Quicktime. I have to say that although some of this looks fun, I'm getting a big Treasuer Planet/Titan AE vibe here ( oh, and I actually liked the latter). With Finding Nemo looking to be the top kid pic of the summer, it's probably just another shovel of dirt into the grave of American 2D animation ( however, it's still thriving internationally).
