Hey folks, Harry here with an old friend of mine that I last saw in Banff, years ago. Looks like she's moved to Los Angeles, hopefully the doll will write more often. The Jessica she talks about was just absolutely to KILL for. Sigh... Anyway, the "White Queen" is a consummate tease, she drove guys crazy at the conference, and now... because the minx has seen X2 before the rest of us, she's toying with us again. It just ain't fair! I'll get her back for this... actually, what the hell, she's just communicating her excitement for the film... heh... like we needed to be more excited... MAY... sooooo friggginnnn faarrrrrr awwaaaayyyyyy.... ARGH!!!!

It's the White Queen here again, once again this is just info to wet your taste buds and not something to spoil it all. Harry, you may remember me from your trip to the Canadian Rockies back 5 years ago. Remember, it was me, Jessica and Trish, you were flirting with Jessica something fierce. Anyway, next time you're in L.A. let's get together and drink more Merlots and laugh about Chad.
You may want to edit that, but I just got back from a screening of xmen2 in Pasadena and all I can say is wow, wow, wow. I can only give you a quick flavor of what the movie was like.....I would give you a full review to post but I would feel guilty for giving the goodies away.
This movie KICKED TOTAL MAJOR ABSOLUTE ass!!! I believe it affected me so powerfully because of two things different than the original....sex and violence.
You will not believe how many peripheral characters die in this movie. There is not a lot of blood in these scenes, but most of the 'gore' is implied. This will definitely be a PG13 movie pushed to the absolute limit.
In your earlier post about x2, you mentioned you were looking forward to characters you 'care' about. This movie triples the concern for characters felt in the first.
Overall, based on what I've seen tonight........I am really hesitant to say which movie will be better, and which will make more money.....Matrix or X2??

Nightcrawler's attack on the White House - balletic, refined, and thoughtful action
Wolverine defending the Xavier School - his first victim will create chaos in the audience it is so cool, you should have heard the audience tonight!
Magneto's escape from the plastic prison - very violent, very cool
All of Cerebro's scenes - utterly beautiful
Storm and her tornadoes - Top Gun meets Twister
Nightcrawler saves Rogue - Literally, the scene just makes you squeal for a half minute. Totally captures the spirit of the comic!
etc, etc, etc. Harry, my you're drooling, I'm sure you haven't been like that since you last saw Jessica. :) Again, I won't be the one to spoil this film, Moriarty did enough of that months ago with that script review of his. Such a naughty boy. His boney ass needs my whip!
