Instead it is a single genre festival where you know all the titles playing... So you can safely go in knowing what to expect. It's like driving one of those AC powered cars from TOY R US as a kid, then being asked to pilot a Stealth Bomber... but.. baby steps ya know? And for you regional BNAT professionals... It's fun for you too, this event will be fun as hell... its got Kevin McCarthy there! When he stands before the audience... looks out at you and screams... 20TH ANNUAL OHIO 24-HOUR SCIENCE FICTION MARATHON!
The pods are taking shape in the Arena Grand greenhouse in anticipation of this year's science fiction marathon, noon Saturday, April 26 until noon Sunday April 27 at the luxurious Arena Grand Theatre (175 W. Nationwide Blvd.).
We'll be welcoming our special guest, the distinguished star of screen, stage and TV, Kevin McCarthy. Mr. McCarthy's career has included roles in PIRANHA, INNERSPACE, THE HOWLING, EVE OF DESTRUCTION, MATINEE, FINAL APPROACH, TWILIGHT ZONE: THE MOVIE and, of course, the original INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS.
We'll be presenting INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS and TWILIGHT ZONE: THE MOVIE. Other films on the lineup so far include: X-MEN, EQUILIBRIUM & EIGHT-LEGGED FREAKS.
