Fred Olen Ray brings the Werewolf back right in THE UNLIVING

And of... well the sort of movies that The Alamo Drafthouse would show at WEIRD WEDNESDAYS. And this certainly sounds like the sort of news that's welcome to the eyes and ears of those with these particular quirks! Hehehehe... Here ya go...

 So, I'm reading about all of these cool sounding werewolf films coming uop in the next year, and I'm noticing a galring omission here. I'm talking about Europe's KING of the bloody werewolves here.  

Paul Naschy, a.k.a. Jacinto Molina. Anyone who can recall the glory days of staying up late to watch those bizaare and wonderful European horror films that would be played late at night on local stations has undoubtedly came across his work. THE WEREWOLF VERSUS THE VAMPIRE WOMAN, FURY OF THE WOLFMAN, HORROR RISES FROM THE TOMB,etc. Well, none other then Fred Olen Ray has just wrapped shooting on what looks to be Naschy's final turn as Valdemar Daninsky in THE UNLIVING. We're talking old school werewolf, here. the tortured soul of Valdemar walks the Earth once again, afflicted with the curse of Lycanthropy for all eternity. Surely, there must be people who remember the man, Spain's greatest horror actor and a major influence in the European Horror film industry.
