Remember my comment about THE DEEP BLUE SEA? Well here are two explanations for what the project ol Renny Harlin is a sweating on next. The first comes from Mr Pennyworth.
The Deep Blue Sea was a spec that sold for 1 mil a couple of years back. It's about genetically engineered sharks, engineered to be faster, deadlier and most important ... to be intelligent. Figure Aliens under water... a swarm of intelligent killer sharks (not to be confused with Meg). The script was cool (re-concept) but needed some work on a character level.
Then this part comes from Jumpin' Juniper, the high flying sage brush!!!
Basically, it's Jurassic Park meets Jaws -- Scientists have genetically bred a new speciaes of sharks, better, stronger, faster, more vicious -- with the intent of creating a kind of advanced theme park for big game fishermen -- but something goes terribly wrong.
