Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.
If you aren’t familiar with Montreal’s fantastic FantAsia film festival, then allow me to elucidate:
You can CLICK HERE, or HERE, or HERE, or HERE, or HERE, HERE, or even HERE.
Last year, dates were announced for the festival, but then venue issues forced the organizers to cancel the fest for the year, a blow to genre fans who were planning to descend on the city and feast on nearly a month of movies. Well, this year, it looks like things are back on track. Check this out!
The official FanTasia website is up again, after a long absence.
The excitement begins.....now. The website says that the FanTasia
festival is coming from July 23rd to August 11th. Are you?
Hell, yes. I hope so, anyway. San Diego ComiCon is July 17-20th, so maybe I can hop directly from that up to Montreal and take in a truly indecent amount of geek goodness in that 23 day stretch.
It’s shaping up to be a great summer.
"Moriarty" out.
