Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.
I first heard the name “Victor Webster” about three weeks ago, and I wasn’t able to verify anything at all about him. Based on how many crazy-ass SUPERMAN rumors have shown up in the Moriarty Labs mailbox over the last six months, it didn’t seem worth following up on.
I may regret that if the following letter turns out to be true:
Hey Moriarty and Harry,
Sci Fi.com, IGN Film Force, and 4Filmmakers are reporting that Victor Webster, an actor on "Mutant X", has just been cast as Ratner's new Man of Steel. Any truth to this, or is it just another addition to a long line of uncomfirmed casting rumors?
In any case, call me "Traitor Zaarin".
According to Comics Continuum, Victor Webster has indeed tested for the film. If he got as far as an actual screen test, that’s a big deal, but no one’s actually said that. For right now, I’d take any reports that he’s going to be the actual choice as speculation. At least we have another official name in the race, though.
