Hey folks, Harry here... Personally I'm fascinated and very happy about James Cameron going off on these adventures and meeting the sorts of people that he's meeting on these adventures... the reason is, he's getting outside of Hollywood... Outside of those types of asskissers that would probably flock him wherever he went and he's meeting and hanging with some amazing people which could be the basis for some narrative filmmaking and character work that will all hail later on! Could be great for his movies - meanwhile he's documenting and shooting some fascinating material - and most important - he's happy!
Hi Harry!
This is the first time I Write you, my name is Miguel Angel. I live in the north of Spain (sorry for my poor english).
Several months ago, the "Prestige", an oil cargo ship, shunk near "Galicia", at the northwest of Spain ("Galicia" is where "Dagon", from Stuart Gordon, was shot).
This is a big ecologic catastrophe, not only for the species that live here: The people in "Galicia" depends entirely on the fishing, and the "black tide" will last for years.
A very credible spanish newspaper (www.diariovasco.com), says that James Cameron will shoot a documentary about this catastrophe, using the same submarine He used for the Bismarck film. It seems He is very touched by this ecologic desaster.
I am a very big James cameron fan, and these are sad news for me.
I still dream on James Cameron making "Alien 5", the "Mars Project", or something sci-fi related.
In the interview, Cameron says that Hollywood makes people get crazy, and He recovers his sanity in the sea. And if He were born again, He would dedicate is life to oceanography.
Here you have a link, in spanish:
