Hey folks, Harry here... Looks like they've released the new DAREDEVIL trailer over at APPLE and it looks pretty damn fine. I like the Affleck narration at the beginning, but then they put in Mr Voice for a bit... ugh... But hey... STAN LEE MADE THE TRAILER!!!! Plus we get our first peek at RADAR-VISION!!! Plus the beginning of Bullseye vs the Limo - a sequence that if they shot it as storyboarded... wowzers! And how about that killer smile of Michael Clarke Duncan's? Does that man look badass in pinstripes or what? And that's the way to treat a fucking olive... I hate olives... well... at least with the pits still in them... yuck... Olives were made for Pizza and Spaghetti, not to eat whole! Plus you get the first hint that BULLSEYE gets a costume... which we haven't seen anywhere online yet, but that I've been telling y'all he'd get! They decided to deemphasize the Foggy Nelson humorous bits for the trailer, and go for more of the action angle. It's a damn fine trailer - though nothing at all like the badassness that is KILL BILL's teaser trailer... though this one looks 5 times more expensive. Though... Jennifer Garner twirling those sai and on her hands and knees on that rooftop... geek fetish dreams for sure! Check it out... Each DAREDEVIL trailer has been better than the one before it! YIPPEE!!!
ADDITION: For the person in TalkBack complaining about TOO MANY CHARACTERS... Do any of you know what Moriarty and I have been going gaga in anticipation for DAREDEVIL? It sure as hell isn't because FOX loves AICN - because they treat us like the deformed baby in the dumpster - It is because this film - the story that is being told is FRANK MILLER'S ELEKTRA story... If you know the comics - if you know that Bullseye/Kingpin/Elektra/Daredevil story - then you know this story. It has built in the origin - QUICKLY - and then the Elektra story completely. Now, not all those limited edition ELEKTRA stories - just that Frank Miller - story arc that we all loved to death. As for BULLSEYE's costume - see the movie - the one you've seen isn't there the whole film. This is the first time in comic book to film history - where the BEST STORY from a character's Comic run was turned into a film. So this is as if the Gwen Stacy story had been told... or the coming of Galactus FF story... or the 3 issue Absorbing Man/Loki/Odin/Thor story... This is THE CLASSIC DEFINITIVE DAREDEVIL STORY. Imagine if Fox had the balls to do THE PHOENIX SAGA... it's that type of thing. And the script is GREAT! Hell, even Kevin Smith agrees on that - and you know he's tough on Comic book movies!
