If you’re an action junkie, like me, then I want to ORDER you to go check this next trailer out. Dimension is severely underselling this one, and I’ve done my part to get the word out, as have the good guys over at CHUD, but even with all of that and the upcoming “Two Thumbs Up” I hear the film’s getting from Ebert & Roeper, I’m worried that people will miss EQUILIBRIUM in the midst of this crowded Christmas season.

Fine Line’s got their trailer out there now for RIPLEY’S GAME, another adaptation of a Patricia Highsmith novel, and as much as enjoy the earlier version of this story (Wim Wenders’s THE AMERICAN FRIEND), I’m curious to see how this new, more faithful adaptation will play. Ripley is one of the great creations of crime literature, and I’m all for as many interpretations as possible.
