Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.
Paramount wrote yesterday to bring this to my attention, but the site’s miserable response time today kept me from posting it until now. Believe it or not, kids, our webmaster is working his ass off to resolve the site’s ongoing technical issues, and is well aware of them. We’re not the size of CNN.com or whatever, so it’s a little bit more demanding, and we hope you guys are able to ride the storm out with us. Once this is resolved, we’ll be faster than ever before.
In the meantime, head on over to IFILM if you want to see some footage from NEMESIS, which seems to be pleasing both TREK fans and nonfans alike. Sounds like it could be the same kind of crossover hit as WRATH OF KHAN or VOYAGE HOME. Personally, I can’t wait to see how Baird does with the picture. I liked the script, and I hope it works.
Paramount has teamed up with IFILM to premiere the STAR TREK NEMESIS ShowEast reel - the first indepth look at the movie online and something we thought your visitors would be into.
Three major scenes are shown (over 5 minutes of footage) including Shinzon and the Enterprise crew's first meeeting, a portion of the battle between the Enterprise and Shinzon's Scimitar warship and finally, a dramatic confrontation between Shinzon and Picard toward the end of the film.
