Neil Gaiman: The Mayor Of Busytown At Busy O

Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.

Someone wrote me today and commented on how busy I am these days, calling me "the Mayor of Busytown" and making me laugh in the process. Ha. I look at some of these other guys out there, guys like Neil Gaiman or Alan Moore or Stephen “The Machine” King, and I just laugh. I am not busy yet. I hope one day to be truly busy.

Until then, I can look at something like this and marvel. At least ten different readers wrote me to send me the same link, all of them excited by it. I understand. Cindy Lynn Speer has done a tremendous job of taking all of the information currently available about Neil and what he’s doing and combining it into one archive that also includes things he’s already done, like PRINCESS MONONOKE. There’s a lot here that I’d never seen before, so dig in:

CLICK HERE TO UNDERSTAND WHY I AM HUMBLED BY THE VOLUME AND QUALITY OF WORK THAT NEIL GAIMAN PRODUCES!!

I’m dying to know more about the animated RAMAYANA he wrote five drafts of for Dreamworks, or the adaptation of THE FERMATA he’s working on with Robert Zemeckis, or CHIVALRY, a Holy Grail story which (if I’m reading this article correctly) may end up being written and directed by none other than Harvey Weinstein himself.

Fascinating stuff...

"Moriarty" out.
