Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.
Nice catch, James. He’s the reader who dropped me the heads-up about what’s up over at The Comics Continuum. Seems they’re the first to capture images from the upcoming AMC ACCESS episode that’s devoted to LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN.
Check out what appears to be Jason Flemyng with the Mr. Hyde arms on. Pretty groovy, and very consistent with O'Neill's original design...
See what I’m talking about right here!!
Also, my apologies for the Mina Murray image from a few days ago. A lot of times, international promotional items appear online, so the Spanish wasn’t a big deal to me. Turns out it’s fan-art, though, for a contest over at Comics2Film.com. Hats off to the Spanish artist who actually did the picture. I guess someone saw it, got overenthusiastic, and sent it in to us as real.
Anyway... check out American Movie Classics this Friday night at 10:00 for your first real look at LEAGUE and the way they’re bringing Mr. Hyde, the Invisible Man, the Nautilis and more to life next year. I may not like the draft I read of the script, but I’m more than happy to acknowledge that it was A draft, not THE draft, and that Norrington interests me. If he can make this work, it’s definitely a world I’d like to see a cool version of onscreen.
"Moriarty" out.
