So if “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” morphs into “Sunnydale RFD” or something next season, will Eliza Dushku, who returns to play Faith in this season’s last five episodes, headline the spinoff? "That possibility exists," Whedon tells TVGO, "It's one of many."
One also senses from the writer-director’s comments that Buffy isn’t going to die in this year’s finale. Our guess is she either hops dimensions or gets frozen in Carbonite.
