Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.
Well, looks like Fox picked their moment and struck with a glut of new X2 images and ideas bouncing around all over the web this weekend.
First up, I’ve got back to back e-mails from Superhero Hype:
Hey folks, I'm not sure who all was there, but we have our first two reports on the "X2" press conference held this weekend:
First up is the release date for the trailer and a description of what you will see right here.
Our second feature is a discussion with production designer Guy Dyas as he toured us through the X-Jet set:
We'll have more of what the cast said and more descriptions of the sets shortly, I'll stay in touch!

And here’s the second one:
Hey guys, sorry for the multiple e-mails, but this stuff is just too cool :)
We've now also posted descriptions of sets 2-6 with about five more to come:
You can find them right here!!
Hope you like these inside bits.

And, of course, there’s ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY.
Even though they’ve had an annoying habit lately of stealing stories outright from this site and then getting the facts wrong when they run them, I’m going to link you back to EW, and it’s because they’ve got the goods. They’ve got something like 15 new images from X-MEN 2, and I’ll warn you right now... there’s a Kelly Hu shot that is spoileriffic and an Ian McKellen image that borders on giving away one of the movie’s coolest moments.
Here’s the first image, and enjoy the rest yourself!!
Man, I love these images. The Dutch Treat still looks awesome as Jean, Jackman is back and just as badass, and all the things I liked about the first film appear to be in place here. It’s also nice to see that Shawn Ashmore is playing Bobby. Good continuity. I hope when they cast Hank McCoy or the Cajun Gambler this time out, they’ve found people worth bringing back if the situation pans out for X-MEN 3.
"Moriarty" out.
