Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.
Okay, guys... here’s a new idea for you. It’s a TalkBack that exists for one purpose: tell us what you saw this weekend. The fall season is fully underway now with films like PUNCHDRUNK LOVE and BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE opening in a platform pattern while other movies like THE RING and THE TRANSPORTER are open wide already.
When we switched to the new server earlier this week, the actual transfer meant that some of you were posting Talk Backs on the old server while others were posting on the new server. In cases like that, the stuff posted after a certain time on the old server vanished, and several talkbacks were lost, including SERVER MAINTAINENCE, the one that so many of you went totally mad monkey apeshit crazy in. One of the things I heard back from you guys afterwards is that you like the less structured Talk Backs.
So let’s try this one as a Monday morning experiment and see how it goes. Maybe we should start this one as a regular thing as we wade into the crazy movie season ahead.
It’s really up to you.
"Moriarty" out.
