Some details to make us crave fresh “24" all the more:
The season begins at 8 a.m. Before 1 p.m., terrorists will reduce the CTU building to cinders.
Soul-Patch Tony survives. He’s in the field, interviewing a suspected terrorist named Reza Naiyeer. (Reza is supposed to be married that day to Marie Warner, daughter of Reza’s boss. Kate Warner, Marie’s suspicious sister, called the authorities. Coaxial News believes Kate will be Jack Bauer’s love interest this season.)
Around 12:30 p.m., Jack Bauer will phone daughter Kim and tell her to “get out of L.A. as soon as possible.” Kim tells her new boyfriend, a musician named Miguel, that there’s going to be another bomb. “A bigger bomb.” Trouble is, Kim is also trying to rescue her preteen charge, Megan. Megan is said to have been abused by her father. “The doctor said there was evidence of other stuff [Megan’s father] did to her,” explains Kim.
Prepare for a long wait. Fresh “24” doesn’t return to Fox until Oct. 29.
