Hey folks, Harry here... I haven't been linking to many trailers over at the Apple Trailer Page recently because frankly... The titles they've been being given are the upcoming dregs... Stuff that just makes me yawn. However, this trailer for THE TRANSPORTER looks to finally be the movie that is going to star Jason Statham that is going to capitalize on what I heard was the potential that John Carpenter saw in him for GHOSTS OF MARS - though, the studio didn't want him to play DESOLATION WILLIAMS... Typical. So now, instead of Carpenter getting his due for casting the next action icon... Luc Besson and Corey Yuen get it. TYPICAL... This trailer looks fun as hell. Though the 'dinner tray' scene might be a tad ridiculous. Just a tad. A hair. A particle or two. Here ya go...

Jason Statham, the silent dude from Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, seems to have just broken out. And with Luc Besson producing no less.

Now I just pray that the movie is as good as the trailer and that it doesn't go the way of the last Besson action flick.
